The practice of unfairly treating a person or group of people differently from other people or groups of people is known as a discrimination . As we know that, in our society, there are several types of discrimination which we have discussed and solves those problems.

The unequal manner of persons, for a purpose which has nothing to do with legal rights or powers or the practice of unreasonably treating a person or group of people differently from other people or groups of people, is known as a discrimination . As we know that, in our society, there are several types of discrimination some of them are given below;

  1. Gender discrimination
  2. Caste discrimination
  3. Gender violence etc.

Gender discrimination : Discriminating people on the basis of male, female and third gender is called gender discrimination.Gender inequality, or in other words, gender discrimination refers to unfair rights between male and female based on separate gender roles which point to the unequal manner in life.Regarding the reasons and the issue of gender difference, it can be seen that Asia would be the place where gender discernment has seemed to be a "tradition".In our society, not having a son meant to be disrespectful towards the ancestor. Going on with this mistaken conception, women are more likely to lose the role in a community. Caste discrimination :The traditional hierarchy places;Brahmins (priests and teachers) at the top, followed byChetris (rulers and soldiers) and Vaisyas(merchants and traders). Gender violence : It includes rape, sexual crime, relationship violence in heterosexual and physical harassment, stalking, prostitution and sex trafficking.Gender is also the most powerful predictor of rape, sexual rape, and relationship violence. These violations are predominantly against women and perpetrated by men. According to the National Violence Against Women Survey (1998), 15% of women will be the victim of a completed rape in their lifetime and 2.1% of men. According to the Department of law, 99% of all people caught for rape are men. While some men are rape victims, men are almost always the perpetrator.

  1. Take action. Don’t just think about equality, justice and inclusion. Take action to make it a reality.
  2. Promote change. Change your mind and see what happens. Start with yourself and it is easier to ask others to change.
  3. Especially in rural areas,in this topic awareness programmes should be created throughout the country.
  4. Street drama, programmes can be done in road,ruler areas, schools and articles can be published in popular newspapers.
  5. The legal provisions against such violence and discriminations should well be known by everyone.
  6. Poster and a hoarding board can be pasted in the public places to aware and sensitize the common people.
