Conserving the Bengal Tiger in the Himalayas

Dibesh Karmacharya is a conservation biologist who returned to his home country Nepal to contribute his genetics expertise to a momentous task: conserving the Bengal tiger in the Himalayas. Through the USAID-supported Nepal Tiger Genome Project, Mr. Karmacharya and team have produced breakthrough results for Nepal's biodiversity conservation. The video recently won the second prize on the environmental segment of 'My Hero' International Film Festival.
