A Long-term Commitment: Increasing Access to Family Planning in Nepal

Most women in Nepal are aware of family planning; yet, unmet need is 25%. Long-acting and reversible contraceptive methods are one safe and effective approach to meeting this need. These methods include intrauterine devices (effective up to 12 years) and contraceptive implants (effective up to 5 years). PSI is working across the country to reach women like Anju, a mother of four in rural Nepal.
