Transport association determines the transport tariff in Nepal. So, more or less the price and rules, regulations and calculation process, policy is already determined by the association. The special features of the transportation tariff inNepal are as follows:

  • Transport rate includes both way drives. One way drive rate includes both way drive as the driver or the vehicle has to return to the point of origin.

  • If the vehicle has to leave later than the specific time and if it is not possible for it to return to the point of origin.

  • The overnight charge does not include local running. If a vehicle is supposed to run locally for sightseeing or for other purposes,It will cost extra.

  • The published transport rate includes parking fee, local tax, driver's allowance etc.

  • Sightseeing tour does not include a local drive around the city. Sightseeing tour is to drop at the particular point, wait and then drive back to the point of origin.

  • Transport rates are mostly based on car basis and capacity of a car is 1 to 3 pax.

  • The bus rate may differ as per the quality of the vehicle. German, Tata, Sutlej, etc. are of different prices.

  • Be familiar with the cancellation policy.

  • The validity of rate should be checked.

A passenger fixed airfare to fly from one destination to another in a certain airlines on a particular date. Airfare does not include ground transfer and taxes. It operates every airline that publishes tariff on the sectors. There will be no any complication to calculate the fare if a passenger is using direct flight by one airline. But in international travel, many times two or more than two airlines may be involved. Then it is necessary to calculate to calculate and find out the actual fare. At the same time, it is necessary to know rules and regulations of each airline and the countries involved in it.

The return of pre- paid money is called refund. Refund is related to unused service which could be full or partial. As per commitment if service is unable to provide service it should refund the customer. If the passenger is unable to utilize the service he will ask for refund. It is the responsibility of the service agencies to inform guest about the cancellation policy and refund.

  • Cancellation is related to No- Show:
    No- Show means the passenger does not appear to receive service after confirmation. It is an international action of the passenger. The cancellation rules differ from agency to agency.

  • Refund only if payment is received:
    Cancellation is related with confirmed booking only and refund is possible only when payment has been received in advance.

  • Intention:
    Cancellation is treated as genuine if it was not the passenger's intention to cancel. Intention calculation is punishable and need not to be refunded.

  • Only Receiver will Refund:
    Only agency which has received payment will refund the cash. The service agency will provide certificate, or compensate some other way but should not return cash.

  • Proof of Payment:
    Refund will be provided to those who produce the proof of the real player. The payment will be collected by those who produce the air ticket. Refund of the PTA(Prepaid Ticket Advise) is made to the payer not to the passenger.

  • Government Rules:
    Refund must fulfill the government rules and regulation as it involves foreign currency rules.

  • Check Office and Accounting process:
    Follow accounting rules and procedures.
