Service is a difficult word. The words have many different words in all the society. Service is defined as the term of service include social welfare, religious works, airlines, Internet service, car repair center, include social welfare etc. In tourism, service plays very important role to provided facilities to the traveler in their tour. So tourism is to provide service to the travelers to earn money and profit. In a simple word the service mean doing something for the somebody in proper and the best way by which we can make tourist fell happy . Service is related to anything which is provided to the traveler to move or to travel and where they stay and involved in different tourism activities,So, due to this types of activities, people are doing business to provide services to the traveler or to the tourist to earn money .To the traveler, the services should be well managed .To manage it there are different types of service management term which help to manage the service.There are mainly four types of basic concepts of services management. They are Intangibility, InseparabilityVariability,Perishability.

Tourism is always related to travel and to the traveler is naturally in a human being. Travel or tourism have given change to the human beings. People have been traveling the world for the past time but in that it did not call tourism. Because in that time travel has not taken for the purpose of pleasure and their motive was not to seek holiday from the routine work. When people learn and think about the movement of people (visitor) search of leisure, pleasure, and business activities.Different writers have defined tourism in different ways. The working definition of tourism is defined as “Tourism is the sum total of operation related to the travel temporary stay and involvement in tourism by the no residential (outsides) people. It includes facilities created to cater to their needs”In simple words, tourism means to travel from one place to another place. Tourism is a strategy empowered either by the non-government organization or by government agencies promote a particular bounded region for the purpose of increasing commerce through exporting goods or service to non-locals. Travelling is the action someone undertaken when they visit someplace else either for their recreation or for commerce although this definition has been expanded in recent years to include anyone traveling outside one's normal working area or living area from a day trip to overs holidays.

In this way, we can know the tourism is the movement of the people they may be for a long period or for a shorter period. It is related with culture, friendship, pleaser or place and the attraction. It is also known as experience industry in which people they experience is sell as things which they have brought for sold being sold like the things which we make in housed like a clay pot, pickle, curd etc. Tourism is always related with service which service which we provide to the customer or to the traveler or to the tourist.Some people they think that it is an activity which takes place to another place or leisure, entertainment or business and stays at least for 24 hours.it mean being away from their permanent place on short period of time or temporary visits for certain period of time for tourism purpose we can there are mainly two reasons for which people they travel from one place to another.For pleasure, leisure and entered.For business purpose.

Tourism is an individual human experience which is usually shared by other people. It is always related with travel, stay, and involvement of the outside activities. Tourism is the backbone of Nepal. It plays the major role in the economy of our country. The larger number of people get employed in this industry. The intangible products in tourism i.e. service are very short lived. It is not described to stone like tangible products. Hence if the service is not rendered (delivered) within a defined. Tourism is an activity undertake by people during the time furor pleasure. Hence tourism activities are almost uncommon among a low-income group of people with low purchasing capacity. So we normally find people from rich countries undertaking the tourism activities. There is not the end of tourism activities because the creative mind can always come up with the new idea and-and creativities. In tourism industry there is no- stop movement. If people and the incessant movement gives rise to more tourism activities.

Nature of Tourism

It is a business which provides a change of service to visitors often on 24 hours a day basic and always seven days a work tourism is often a seasonal business and careful planning is required to service. Tourism is a people based industry because so many of its output are service oriented factors which are like to dedicate the success or failure of tourism business, in particular, the following council.

Marketing is a total system of business activities for customers and builds strong customer relationships in order to capture value for the customer in return. It is the business process in which products are matched with the market and through which transfers of ownership are affected. Tourism needs to be a marketed, just as any other kinds of the product because a different customer has different kind of demands to travel all around the world. In marketing, there is competition among the destination, region, country, and many other. They compete among each to get a bigger share of the market. For example, many people visit Mt. Fuji to get relax and for any other pleasure but some people comes to Nepal to see and to climb Mt. Everest because it is the highest peak of the world.

It is the concept of the industry which helps to increase the productions of tourism business in Nepal and to another country too. It is also complex due to various sub- sectors of the tourism products. Each of them is themselves represented as a complex industry. Government and NTO are promoting the destination of tourism business and all of them have each independent on their own objective and to their own goals.

Krippendorf has defined marketing in tourism as follows. “Marketing in tourism is to be understood as the systematic and coordinated execution of business policy by tourist understood whether private or state owned at local, regional, of business policy by tourist undertakings achieve the operational satisfaction of the needs of identifiable consumer groups and doing so to achieve an appropriate return.”It is a management process of satisfaction the visitors what they want more effectively and easily supplies goods. In the tourism marketing, there is an exchange of profit and nature gain. It also means that we are saving our environment as well as gaining consumer satisfaction. The tourism marketing can be defined in a number of ways. The definition of tourism marketing should be the satisfaction of tourists in the view of the tourism growth.
