#### Errors in Measurement and its Statistical Analysis

• Errors may be defined as the deviation of measured value(M.V) from the true value(T.V) of the quantity of measurement.
• There are three types of error  instrumentation system viz- Gross errors, Systematic errors, Random errors.
• Statistical approaches are normally preferred to minimize the random errors.
• Mean and Standard Deviation,  Gaussian probability distribution etc are the statistical techniques to minimize random errors.
