The number of people living in a certain area, place or country is called population. The people, tree, road etc. that lie in the surrounding is called environment. Human beings get all the basic needs such as shelter, food, clothing etc. from the environment where as environment also needs proper care and mobilization of the resources in environment. So, population and the environment are inseparable parts of each other.

Relation between Population and environment

Human Beings are directly related to the environment. Existence of human being is possible because of environment. In the same way, without the existence of human beings, there is no clear meaning of the environment. Nowadays, the demand of population is increasing with the ever increasing population. But the over use of those resources degrades the quality of the environment and causes pollution., flood, landslide, soil erosion, partial rainfall and drought.

Abroad Studies Opportunities

Men are rational animals. They can save or destroy the environment. The proper use of natural resources help to conserve the environment. The rapid population growth rate should be controlled. To control and conserve the environment we should aware the people about the importance of natural resources.

Environment belongs to all the living beings equally. They all are interdependent. So, here we are studying the interrelationship between environment and human beings.

Human beings and Natural resources

The resources which are found in nature are called natural resources. Soil, water, air, minerals, wildlife, hills and mountains etc. are some examples of natural resources. We cannot imagine the possibility of life without natural resources. The use of natural resources has been increasing due to population growth. Destruction of the natural resources causes great threat to the survival of all organisms. Human beings play a vital role in their protection and conservation.

Natural resources must be utilized properly in order to conserve the environment. The rapid population growth hampers the life of people. The development in technology has made our life easier but it has caused bad effects in the environment. Through the modern discoveries like transportation, equipment, agricultural tools, etc help make our life more comfortable, they have created pressure on the natural resources.

Air, soil, water etc are being degraded by overgrazing of animals, unscientific farming, over use of chemicals, deforestation, unplanned industrialization and random urbanization. The environment is being polluted due to destruction of forests, unmanaged disposal of garbage and misuse of pesticides and insecticides. Therefore human beings should put their steps forward to conserve the environment.
