Preservation of National Wealth

National wealth is the pride and glory of the nation. So, it is everyone's duty to protect and promote them. At present, the condition of national wealth is deteriorating. Roads and playgrounds have been encroached. Rubbish is thrown all over the road and the water is mixed with chemicals and drainage. Rotten things and other goods are thrown in temples and their surroundings.

Similarly, the lands are getting barren due to deforestation. Due to overuse of chemicals, the natural fertility of the land is getting lost. Illegal factories that use the sand of rivers and streams are increasing that in turn is increasing the environmental degradation.

Among the nine World Heritage Sites, six of them lie in the Kathmandu valley. But modern concrete buildings are being rapidly built by affecting the historical monuments. The World Heritage Committee has warned the government to protect the sites or they will be stripped out of the World Heritage Sites.

So, the protection of our national wealth is necessary. For this, everyone has to contribute from his/her level.

Things to remember

• Deforestation, overpopulation, overuse of chemicals, more consumption of natural resources, pollution etc are increasing environmental degradation which affect National Heritage.
• Conducting plantation programme, awareness programme, cleanliness program , and implimation of strict rules and regulation can help to protect our National Heritage.

• It includes every relationship which established among the people.
• There can be more than one community in a society. Community smaller than society.
• It is a network of social relationships which cannot see or touched.
• common interests and common objectives are not necessary for society.
