The sense of assisting other could be justified by the attitude of great Buddha named to be “Siddhartha” in an early age where Siddhartha cured an injured duck which was shot with an arrow by Devdutta, the son of Siddhartha’s uncle. Siddhartha was on garden looking at the sky when Devdutta shot an arrow on a duck. When it was shot it fell on the ground near to Siddhartha, Siddhartha with no wasting time picked it up locked away its arrow and washed its blood by the nearby pond, dried it up and applied the juice of medicinal herbs over the injured area. After seeing all these Devdutta asked Siddhartha to handle the duck back to him but Siddhartha refused to do so. When arguments result not any common agreement dey both went to King Shuddhodhana. After listening both, Shuddhodhana asked Siddhartha “Son, why don’t you give duck to tour brother, he first shot an arrow on duck and secondly you got it in your hands so better you should handle it to Devdutta. Then, Siddhartha replied in a very polite form ,” Father, I am ready to offer duck to Devdutta if he agrees to dismiss his right at the moment. I agree the duck was shot by him but tell me a father who gave him right to throw the arrow against the bird which was flying independently, it could have died but it's alive now so it belongs to me and it's me who should have authority over it. After completing his sentence everyone was impressed with his views hence other people by the side claimed Siddhartha was absolutely right and opposes the king to support the claim of the Siddharth. They told, “authority of rescuer is higher than that of the killer”. So. The duck should belong to Siddhartha. With proper care of Siddhartha towards the injured duck, it recovered soon and flew back to the sky. The great deed of Siddhartha enables others too to raise helpful hands for other .
