Nepal covers a total land area of 147,181 sq.k. about 0.1% of the total land on earth with altitudinal variation ranging from 71m in the east terai to 8848 m high mountain from sea level. The proper use and maintenance of land resources in order to fulfill the needs of present and future generations is known as land management. The land is used for various purposes like for agriculture, shelter and for many more things. But due to the excessive use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and massive industrialization and urbanization it has caused a great problem in land disturbing its ecosystem.
To manage the land resources following things should be done.
