The state of feeling uncomfortable and uneasy due to disorder in the body which makes it difficult to do any work is called disease.
Those diseases that are mainly caused by virus and bacteria and can be transferred from an unhealthy person to healthy people are called communicable diseases. They are caused by contact with the sick person through the medium of clothes, food, insect, injections, etc.
The diseases that are mainly caused due to an unhealthy lifestyle, lack of exercise, unhealthy food, etc. but are not transferred from one person to another are called non-communicable diseases.
Differences between communicable and non-communicable diseases

The term ‘disease' is derived from two words ‘dis' meaning lack and ‘ease' meaning comfort. It is a condition of discomfort. The state of feeling uncomfortable and uneasy due to disorder in the body which makes it difficult to do any work is called disease.

What are the main causes of diseases?
The main causes of disease are germs found in the environment, polluted air, water, radiation, unhealthy life style, disturbance inside body,etc.
