The scope of environment education is also called the content or subject matter of environment education.There are different aspects and components in the environment. Among them, the biological, physical, social and cultural aspects are important.

Environment comprises of land, soil, natural resources, human beings and artificial things invented by human beings. So, environment terms are plural and cover an infinitive numbers. A person is healthy only when he gets fresh food, water and air to breathe. He also utilizes environment for shelter, utilizes land to grow food to eat. This is only possible if environment is extricated from air pollution and soil pollution.

Knowledge, attitudes and skills in this aspect are developed among users by environment education. It gives clear idea about the conservation of management of resources in a suitable way. Wise use of natural resources means using resources in effective and efficient way so they are utilized properly and also conserved for the future. In other words, environment education teaches us about the basic principles of conservation. Thus, environment education teaches us wise-uses of natural resources.
