In this stage, two kinds of changes can be seen: Internal and external changes in height, voice, weight, and size of genitals increases. Internal changes also take place in a digestive system, respiratory system, urinary system, circulatory system, etc. which takes place in this period.

Ways to keep our body healthy

  • In girls, mensuration starts in this period so they are in required to take a bath to maintain proper hygiene.
  • The genitals should be cleaned while taking a bath.
  • Exercise and rest are also important to keep our body healthy.
  • We should bath regularly.
  • The right amount of nutritious food should be consumed.

Ways to keep our body clean

  • Wash your hands and feet before and after making food and after using the toilet.
  • Cut your fingernails, wash your clothes, bath, and comb your hair daily.
  • Use clean towel and water to make your eyes clean.
  • Bath daily.
  • Wear clean clothes according to the weather.
  • Avoid drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.
