Safety and First Aid

Safety can be defined as the control of recognized hazards to achieve an acceptable level of risk. First aid is the first and foremost treatment given to the victim of sudden accident or injury. This note provided us knowledge about sprain, altitude sickness, electric shock, snake bites and drowning with their safety measures and first aid.

Electric Shock and Drowning

If any bare part of the body such as hands, legs, etc. touches the exposed part of the electric circuit then a person gets an electric shock. This note provides the information about safety measures and first aid of electric shock and drowning.

Snake Bite and Altitude Sickness

While scaling high mountains or Himalayas, due to the lack of sufficient oxygen in the air, people have symptoms like nausea, feeling like vomiting, headache and body weakness occurs and unconsciousness. This is called altitude sickness. This note provides us information about snake bites and altitude sickness with their safety measures and first aid.

Broken Bone and Shock

The dislocation of bone due to fall from the height or when an outside force is applied is regarded as broken bone. A fracture is also called as broken bone. This note provides the information about safety measures and first aid of broken bone and shock.
